Nutri-Kin believes in keeping your information strictly confidential. This site collects the minimum amount of information required to provide and conduct services. Your name, email, and phone number are collected in order to respond to you. Email addresses and phone numbers collected are never used for anything besides personal correspondence with you. Nutri-Kin is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with an online platform that allows us to sell our services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases, and general Wix.com applications. Wix.com stores your data on secure servers behind a firewall. 

All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by Nutri-Kin adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

Security of Personal Information

As per the Personal Health Information Protection Act, Jessica Williams-Kathol, Registered Dietitian, Professional Kinesiologist, CSEP-Clinical Exercise Physiologist, CSEP-High Performance Specialist has the duty to ensure health records are protected against theft, loss, and unauthorized use or disclosure.

In order to provide reasonable security for personal information in electronic form, Nutri-Kin has implemented technological and administrative safeguards to prevent unauthorized access to your information.

Risks of Unencrypted Communication

There are risks with the use of email and Zoom. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Inadvertently sent to the wrong recipient,

• Vulnerability to theft if accessed on a portable device (ie. smartphone, laptop, tablet),

• Vulnerability to potential interception by unauthorized parties.

Nutri-Kin uses Practice Better for majority of our communication. Practice Better is a HIPAA-compliant app that protects your information.
